Styles that inform my teaching: Jessamyn Stanley, Susanna Barkataki, Jason Crandell, and Robby Kern are all contemporary teachers whose work inspires me. Going further back, I appreciate deeply The Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda and Light on Yoga by BKS Iyengar.

Why I teach yoga: I teach because yoga has helped me heal physically and emotionally from the traumas of my early life.

What you can expect from a class with me: In my classes, you can expect fluid movements that stimulate lymphatic flow, lots of half and full sun salutations, and a variety of options to take when you’re not at 100% energy, but still want to practice.

When I am not teaching, you can find me: When I’m not teaching you’ll find me curled up on the couch with my cat, Saavy, reading a good book, watching a mindless show, or FaceTiming friends.
