Styles that inform and inspire my teaching: My teaching style has evolved over the years and has been influenced not only by the schools that I have studied under (alignment-based flow, prenatal, kundalini, functional movement) but also by my personal life (ups & downs, birthing babies, injury, etc.). As my body has changed, my spiritual practice grown, trajectory in life shifted - so has my practice, and therefore how I teach.

Why I teach yoga: I teach because I believe the practice of yoga is a huge gift and want to share it. I also teach because it's a way for me to stay present in the studentship of yoga.

Why I practice: I practice yoga because it has proven to be the most efficient way (for me) to connect more fully to my body and my life. Over the years my practice has shifted quite a lot - and has evolved to be this structure in which I approach life.

What to expect from classes with me: I aim for my classes to be little gifts of presence - ones that we slowly unwrap with steady breathwork, repetition of movement, a little flow, a slow burn of strength, and some restorative stops along the way. My hope is that you leave my class much more connected (with body or an intention) and grounded sweetly in the now.

When Iā€™m not teaching yoga, you can find me: I live to love my girls- so I am with them often (always). Bike rides with my love. Knitting always. Tending to projects around the house and yard. Connecting with friends and family.
