Teaching since: 2016
Styles that inform and inspire my teaching: slow flow, Vinyasa and restorative yoga.
Why I teach yoga: From my own practice, I find yoga to be a very mindful and healing experience, which is exactly why I teach it! I love to share the gifts of yoga with students by helping them to tune into themselves fully.
Why I practice: I came to yoga as a student to connect to my body, breath, and emotions. Practicing yoga helps me stay grounded, and has done wonders to help me feel balanced in my body as well.
What to expect from classes with me: I teach with a main focus of tuning into your experience. I use language to encourage students to move in ways most authentic to them and like to keep things both fun and mindful! Outside of teaching yoga, I am a mental health therapist, and bring aspects of this into my teaching style.
When I’m not teaching yoga, you can find me: You will most often find me either cuddling with my cat and dog on a cozy couch or outside adventuring (usually also with my dog). I love being active out in nature: running, rock climbing, cross country skiing, hiking, and camping are several of my favorites.
